Products and Wet Tile

B&W Film,Photographica,Photographs — Jordan on May 29, 2007

From one of the first rolls of film with Barry Thornton’s divided metol-sulfite-metaborate developer (described in the previous post). I developed this roll of Tri-X (from the Nikon F90, in this case with the 55mm f/3.5 Micro-Nikkor attached) for about 4.5 min in each bath (bath A at about 27C, bath B at 21C). (Temperature doesn’t seem to matter much!)

I like this developer — highlights were well-controlled with good shadow detail. The grain with Tri-X is tight.
