B&W Film,Photographs — Jordan on February 25, 2007

0705-017

This is the base of a flagpole at a major public high-school in my neighbourhood. I took this photograph with Efke 25 film from Croatia, an extremely fine-grained (and easy-to-scan) conventional B&W film. I developed it in Rodinal 1+50 for 5 minutes at 18C (the cold temperature was used to slow down and even out development). More Efke 25 / Rodinal images to come.

  1. Wow! I had to go to see the larger version on Flickr to really appreciate this. The textures are incredible.

Any chance we’ll be seeing a ‘how to scan b&w film for best results’ article?

    Best,
    Adrian
