The Mining Building at the University of Toronto against a late-afternoon sky.

This is what happens when you put Neopan 1600 in a camera that can only meter up to ISO 800, then develop it in Diafine (a speed-boosting developer). The negatives were extremely dense, more so than others I’ve made recently — but this left lots of detail in the clouds that I could bring out in PS.

    Jordan,

This is a think I always wantd to try it out even I have all things in place. What should be iso for neopan 1600 when you use it with Diafine?
From your picture it seems that grain is quite a huge, but that could be thanks to overexposure. Do you have shots with this combination which are exposed well? I am really curious. — posted by richo on November 15, 2005 12:33am

This is such a great picture. The grain works so well, it looks very dark and dramatic. — posted by Phil on November 24, 2005 5:04pm
