I’ve myself just embarked on this journey with B&W processing at home – with a comibation of Ilford Delta with DD-X — all on 4×5 sheet film.

Boy, its such a nice thing to see a neg emerge when you switch on the lights!

Developed my first roll of film on tuesday night, your notes were extremely helpful, I’ve got a lot of TRI-X and HP5 to shoot now aswell!

Brilliant article, i’m about to start developing at home and these tips helps a lot!
The only thing which I don’t quite understand is the mixing up HC 110. Do I dilute what I need 1+31 and then use the 1+9 water also?
